La Trufa sits comfortably in the Les Corts neighborhood as a spot where the ritual of coffee meets artisanal chocolate craftsmanship. More than just a coffee shop, it draws a steady flow of locals who appreciate quality over rush, making it a favored stop for breakfast or a relaxed mid-morning break.

Walking in, you’ll notice the gentle hum of conversation intertwined with the aroma of freshly brewed cafè amb llet and baked goods like croissants and panellets. The seating offers options both inside and outside, making it easy to settle in whether you’re catching up with friends or taking a quiet moment alone. On warmer days, the outdoor space lets you soak up the Barcelona light while savoring one of their signature hot chocolates or a bunyols de quaresma.

The menu leans into classic Catalan and European treats crafted with an artisanal touch: from the flaky croassans de chocolate y horchata to the nutty crema pistacho, it’s clear this isn’t your standard chain café fare. Vegetarian visitors will find thoughtful options, and families tend to appreciate the variety that suits all ages — especially when it comes to sweet bites and hearty sandwiches.

Locals often swing by before or after errands, or to fuel up before heading out for the day. The friendly staff and calm atmosphere keep the place approachable rather than hurried, encouraging you to linger with a well-made cappuccino or a plate of crema cacau. Given its Les Corts location, it blends well with the neighborhood’s quieter, residential vibe, making it more of a community staple than a tourist hotspot.

If you’re stopping here, morning hours during the week or a laid-back weekend brunch are ideal times to experience La Trufa’s balance of comfort and craft. It’s the kind of place where the details — like a perfectly toasted canyella roll amb pistatxo i albercoc or a rich turró tsunami — quietly elevate the whole experience without fuss.

Lovely place to stop and get breakfast with the family. Plenty of options for sandwiches and bites - also for vegetarians. Our favorites were the Jamon Ibérico (picture) and the Patatas Sandwich. Great cappuccino and hot chocolate too!
